Take a C$200 deposit match with 30x wagering. The question that decides everything is 30 times what?

Most offers in our directory use the second version. At C$1 a spin, that is twelve thousand spins. Ask yourself whether you were going to play that much anyway. If not, the bonus is not free money — it is a commitment you are taking on in exchange for a balance you cannot yet withdraw.
The jackpot-chance offers work differently again. Zodiac's 80 chances for C$1 and Captain Cooks' 100 for C$5 carry 200x on winnings. Win C$100 from those chances and you would need C$20,000 of turnover to withdraw it. That does not make them bad — a dollar for eighty shots at a progressive is fair entertainment — but it does mean you should treat them as a lottery ticket rather than a bankroll.
Game weighting is where offers are really decided
Wagering contributions are rarely 100% across the board. A typical structure looks like this:
- Slots: usually 100% — a C$1 bet clears C$1 of the requirement.
- Roulette: often 10–20%, sometimes excluded entirely.
- Blackjack and video poker: frequently 5–10%, because the house edge is thin.

Four terms that quietly cost you
- Maximum cash-out. A cap on bonus winnings. Win C$3,000 on a bonus with a C$500 cap and you keep C$500. Find this number first — it is especially important on no-deposit offers.
- Maximum bet while wagering. Often C$5 or C$8 per spin. Exceed it once, even accidentally, and many operators void the bonus and everything won from it.
- Expiry. Seven days is common and far tighter than it sounds when a five-figure turnover requirement is attached.
