What we check
Before a casino goes on this site we record four things, and they are the four that appear on every card and review:
- The welcome offer, exactly as the operator states it — no rounding up, no "up to" removed.
- The wagering attached to it, including whether the multiple applies to the bonus alone or to deposit plus bonus. This is the number that decides whether an offer is worth claiming.
- Deposit and withdrawal methods, and whether Interac e-Transfer is supported.
- What the lobby is actually like — theme, layout, and whether the games you came for are easy to find.
Everything on the site was last checked on 24 September 2026. Offers change without notice; the operator's own cashier is always the authority, and we say so on every review.
We also check our own links. Each affiliate route is followed before publishing to confirm it resolves and carries our tracking correctly, and our build fails if a Play button is ever pointed at a brand that is not in the data file.
How we rank
Our top picks are ordered by what an offer is worth after the wagering, not by the size of the headline. That is why Quatro's 700 free spins and Zodiac's C$1 entry rank above Grand Hotel's C$5,560 — the biggest number on the site needs five deposits and the largest total turnover of anything we list.
We do not publish numeric scores. A single number out of ten looks like a measurement and is really a judgement with the reasoning removed. Our reviews say who a casino suits and who it does not, which is more useful and harder to fake.
How we are paid
Affiliate commission, and we want to be precise about what that means here rather than burying it:
- Every casino in our directory is a brand we have an affiliate arrangement with. This is a directory of partners, not a survey of the Canadian market. We are telling you that because a comparison site that implies otherwise is misleading you about what it is.
- The featured slot is paid placement. Four brands occupy it this month and share one welcome package. They are labelled "Featured this month" everywhere they appear and are not ranked against the directory. We do not own or operate them.
- Commission does not buy a favourable review. We are paid the same whichever partner you choose, so there is no incentive to oversell one over another — which is why the reviews say plainly when an offer is worse than its headline, when branding oversells a bonus, and when you would be better off declining a bonus entirely.
Where we have no commercial relationship — the provincial platforms like PlayNow, Espacejeux, PlayAlberta and OLG — we point you there with no link attached, because there is nothing in it for us either way.
A note on the network
Most of the 16 casinos in our directory belong to the same long-established operator network. That is why they share a game library, a cashier and a loyalty scheme, and why several of them carry near-identical bonus terms.
We would rather state that than present them as 16 independent choices. What genuinely differs between them is the welcome offer, the wagering attached, and how the lobby looks and feels — so those are what our reviews compare, and where two brands really are interchangeable, the review says so.
About the brand plates
Most brands on this site display their own logo. A few show a 7spins wordmark plate instead — our own typographic treatment of the brand's name, in our house style.
Those plates are not the operators' logos and we never present them as such. We use one wherever the operator's asset set has nothing usable. In one case the file supplied under a brand's name turned out to be a network anniversary banner rather than a logo at all, so we rejected it and used a plate. We would rather show a name plate that is clearly ours than an image that misrepresents a brand.
What we will not do
- Publish a Play button that sends you to a brand other than the one named on it.
- Quote a bonus, wagering figure, licence number or payout time we have not verified.
- Print a headline offer without the wagering that comes with it.
- Imply we have surveyed the whole Canadian market when we are listing partners.
- Present our own name plates as an operator's official logo.
- Claim to be, or to be endorsed by, any casino — including any operator with a name similar to ours.
